Processes controlling climate change impacts of natural non-CO2 species
WP2 will focus on evaluating the climate relevant processes and feedbacks of biogenic SOA and their precursors (VOC, O3, NOx), based on long-term observation data. This WP will lead to an improved understanding of the intensity of the COBACC feedback loop in different environments. Both WP1 and WP2 will feed directly into WP3 and WP4 to constrain and test model performance schemes specifically for aerosols and their direct and indirect interactions affecting climate on global and regional scales.
